Dear friends,
We have just finished a successful concert tour with guest pianist Alon Goldstein and now we are heading towards our ongoing kids concert project: Peter and the Wolf.
Prokofiev’s masterpiece returns to the stage twice in the Habait Theatre in Yafo: On Saturday, Feb. 29th at 10:30 and at 17:00. Hurry up and reserve your seats!

The celebration continues
Beethoven’s 250th birthday celebrations will continue in a special concert at the Mormon University in Jerusalem on Sunday, Feb. 23rd, at 20:00. The pianist Ron Trachtman will join us and we will present a program dedicated to the composer’s early pieces: Duet for Clarinet & Bassoon in Bb, WoO 27 no. 3; Piano Sonata No.9 in E major, Op.14 No.1; Horn Sonata in F major, Op. 17; and the lovely Piano Quintet in Eb op. 16.
Finally, here are a couple of souvenirs from our recent concerts with Alon Goldstein and guest oboist Dudu Carmel (who jumped in with a short notice due to Yigal’s illness). We thank Dudu for his inspiring playing! Yigal is in good health and he will be performing with us next week. Here are some impressions about the concert in the Zucker Hall from Pamela Hickman’s blog.
