This is the debut album of the Tel Aviv Wind Quintet, one of the leading chamber music ensembles in Israel today. It includes two masterpieces by Bach (Trio Sonata BWV 525) and Beethoven (Quintet op.4), arranged by Mordechai Rechtman, perhaps the most prolific and successful arranger for winds of our time. Ari Ben-Shabetai's 'Winks' was written especially for the Tel Aviv Wind Quintet and this is the world premiere recording of the piece. The album concludes with the beloved Libertango by Piazzolla, here in Jeff Scott's exciting version.
